Known as the baddest Backstreet boy, McLean struggled with his addictions to drugs and alcohol throughout his longtime career with the Grammy-nominated pop group, but decided to clean up his act to be able to fill his insatiable need to perform. “My life was kind of going downhill real fast. I was losing everything,” he said. But getting clean and getting back to work was the best medicine he could have taken. |

About New Album
Toby Gad records new songs with Miley Cyrus for Hannah Montana season 3. She invites Toby to join her at Fashion Rocks in Radio Music Hall, where she performs with Rhianna, Mary J Blige, Leona Lewis, Beyonce and many other superstars. Beyonce's single "If I Were A Boy" which Toby co-wrote and produced, debuts this week. Shakira invites Toby to write with her in the Bahamas for her new album. Nick Carter calls Toby and writes a song with him for the Backstreet Boys record. Leighton Meester from Gossip Girl writes a song with Toby together with The Writing Camp. Pixie Lott wraps up her album on Mercury / Interscope records. Natasha Hamilton from Atomic Kitten works with Toby.
